My client is an international multi-disciplinary consultancy supplying high quality service and advice to customers from across the globe. This client prides themselves on their creative and cost effective solutions thus ensuring long-standing partnerships with their clients. This company is a market leader in planning, energy and, design and provides professional career structures to encourage their employee's development both internally and externally to the company. In preparation for the busy survey season ahead, this client are looking to employ seasonal ecologists to carry on the good work in their Southampton office.
Requirements
* Relevant degree e.g. Biology, Ecology or a related environmental discipline
* Hold at least 1 protected species license
* Experience in conducting surveys e.g. protected species and Phase 1 Habitat
* Ability to gather and interpret data
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving license and vehicle
* Proficient with MS Office
Responsibilities
* Manage wildlife conservation
* Carrying out field work - surveying and recording
* Researching the impact of human activity
* Ability to work independently
* Liaising with sub-consultants and office
* Report writing
