Abatec Recruitment are proud to be working with a Civil Engineering main contractor on the prestigious Hinkley Point C. We are recruiting for experienced Site Agents to work on the largest Civil Engineering project in Europe. Successful applicants will have proven experience of working on Civil Engineering schemes which include: highways, RC structures, earthworks or marine/quay/seawalls.Abatec will facilitate the necessary onboarding that our client requires, including DBS checks and Triple Bar NNB tests. We can offer immediate starts to Site Agents who already possess clearance, otherwise security vetting will take between 4-8 weeks. As Site Agent you will:*Report into the Section Manager and be responsible for a pre-determined package of works.*Be responsible for pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.*Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget.*Manage the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ).*Manage the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control.Our client is looking for Site Agents who:*Have experience of managing the operations of large Civil Engineering schemes.*Have previously worked for a Civil Engineering main contractor, as Project Manager or Snr Site Agent*Possess drive, loyalty and the ambition to be part of a this iconic project.*Have experience of highways, RC structures, earthworks or marine/quay/seawalls.Benefits:*??270 - ??320 per day*Ongoing work*10 hour working days*Weekend work Please note that Abatec welcome applications from candidates who are interested in permanent opportunities at Hinkley Point.If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans.
