Senior Quantity Surveyor

Abatec Recruitment are proud to be working with a Civil Engineering main contractor on the prestigious Hinkley Point C. We are recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on the largest Civil Engineering project in Europe. Successful applicants will have proven experience of working on Civil Engineering schemes which include: highways, RC structures, earthworks or marine/quay/seawalls.Abatec will facilitate the necessary onboarding that our client requires, including DBS checks and Triple Bar NNB tests. We can offer immediate starts to Snr Quantity Surveyors who already possess clearance, otherwise security vetting will take between 4-8 weeks. As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:- Ensure accurate costing and preparation of budgets for each aspect of site development- Oversee the running of a team of surveyors- Have experience of working for main contractors- Ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectivelyAs Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have:- A degree or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying- A track record of delivering good results.- Good communication skills, fluent in the use of MS Office suite, specifically Excel Benefits:- ??320+ per day- Ongoing work- 10 hour working days- Weekend work If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly evans.
