Assistant Quantity Surveyor -Wembley - Social Housing (reactive maintenance) - GBP35,000 - GBP40,000
My client is a family owned building services company that are one of the UK's leaders in proving maintenance for social housing. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to come in and help drive their already excellent performance on a reactive maintenance contract in Wembley. The company holds maintenance contracts across the UK and is continually expanding, for this reason they are looking for someone who is ambitious and will be able to progress through the company.
The client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience working on social housing reactive maintenance projects, working with a Schedule of Rates. You will be working as part of a team on a constantly evolving reactive and planned maintenance contract, providing support to the Senior QS and helping them to run all financial aspects of the contract. Your main duties will involve working on the voids, processing final accounts, managing sub-contractors and you will also gain some exposure to the client.
The client is willing to pay GBP35,000 and above for a Quantity Surveyor with a year or more experience of working on these sorts of projects. A BSc of HNC qualification is advantageous, but not necessary, experience of working with SOR's and experience with IT systems such as COINS or Orchard would be beneficial.
As well as a great basic salary the client is offering you an excellent rewards package.
