JOB DESCRIPTION:
We will only look at candidates who have come from an accountancy practice. max salary we will go to £36,000-is a little bit flexible with this basic salary.
Audit/Accounts Senior
The Manchester office of our group is recruiting for an audit/accounts senior.
Reporting to: Audit Managers
Background:
Our company is a Top 15 firm of Chartered Accountants. The Manchester office is currently recruiting for a high quality audit/accounts senior.
The audit department has approximately 28 staff across all grades and its client base is varied by size, sector and type. The successful applicant will be involved in working with academy schools, charities and a broad range of commercial trading businesses, both in the office and out at the client’s premises. The incoming audit/accounts senior can count on the support of a team of first-rate partners and managers and will be supervising the work of semi-seniors and trainees.

Person Specification:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Newly qualified or up to 4 years experience in an accountancy practice
Current audit experience is essential
Experience in the charity sector and academy schools is highly desirable
CCH Audit Automation (ProAudit) and/or CCH Accounts Production (Viztopia) experience are ideal but not essential
Remuneration and benefits:
Salary in line with current market rates
Standard hours of work are from 9:00am to 5:30pm with one hour for lunch (37.5hrs/wk)
