Warehouse Operative/Installer
Wokingham RG40
£9 - £11 per hour + overtime + bonus
Our client has identified an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Installer to join their team and provide warehouse supervision. This role is interesting and varied as you will be installing tensile canopies, marquees, glass veranda canopies and installing exhibition stands on a nationwide basis.
Position Summary
As Warehouse Operative/Installer you will be working 40 hours per week with approximately 10 hours overtime. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Responsibility for the warehouse and managing an installation team on site
• The H & S of staff, sub-contractors, and all others on site
• The safe installation and dismantling of structures
• Keeping to time deadlines
• Ensuring all jobs are completed to the highest quality
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience to undertake the role:
• Proven marquee or canopy experience
• Strong leadership skills and able to work as part of a team
• Self-motivated, pro-active and hard working with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Well-presented and able to communicate with clients
• A full, clean driving licence
Desirable skills
• Counter balance forklift trained
• First Aid trained
• CSCS card
• Able to drive 7.5-ton vehicles
• PASMA certified for access towers
Training will be arranged if the right candidate hasn’t already been trained in the above.
