Our Client
Our client is one of the UK's largest regrinding companies with a distribution network covering predominantly the South of the UK. The company sells a wide range of abrasives, metalworking, woodworking, and engineering tools to the Automotive, Aerospace, Furniture, Precision Engineering and other Manufacturing industries. As a result of their continued success they are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to help strengthen their foothold in the Engineering sector.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be expected to help win new accounts throughout the UK and help develop existing relationships within agreed levels of revenue & profitability. It will be your job to provide timely and professional documentation of activities and results against the agreed schedule of objectives. You will deliver continuous feedback on the marketplace for the benefit of the business as a whole.
The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, be able to manage their own time effectively and be highly motivated with great attention to detail. You must hold yourself to high standards when representing the business in front of customers, and also when providing progress reports to your line manager. It is essential that you have a history of selling cutting tools. It is also ideal that the successful started their career as an engineer, but not essential.
