We are currently looking for a Vehicle Test Engineer to work for a major Automotive organisation based in Warwickshire, West Midlands

Job Title: Vehicle Test Engineer
Experience: Mechanical engineering
Location: Warwickshire, West Midlands
Rate: From GBP17.00 to GBP19.20 per hour Ltd Co.
Hours: 40 per week
The Role:
*Liaison with design areas, Safety delivery teams and team leaders to provide the testing service required
*Deliver tests in a timely manner in accordance with programme demands
*Represent the company at internal and external meetings
*Produce sign off reports suitable for homologation in line with product liability guidelines
*Design and modification of test rigs and fixtures in response to legislation test protocols, CAE requirements etc.
*Development of techniques to integrate physical test and CAE tools related to test procedures and real world accident requirement accident scenarios
Skills Required:
3 Key Skills:
- Mechanical engineering background
- Good communication skills
- Flexible, self-motivated individual with good teamworking skills
Experience Required:
*Degree in mechanical engineering or related subject
*Mechanical engineering background
*Test environment experience
*Report creation and publishing
Experience Preferred:
*Familiarity with test instrumentation and data manipulation
*Familiarity with motor vehicle safety testing
Additional Information:
*Attention to detail and adherence to process is essential to guarantee consistency of data collection and reliability of results produced from data gathered
*40 hours per week with 3.30pm finish on Fridays
