Powertrain Test Principal Engineer - Coventry - Salary + car allowance
This ambitious vehicle manufacturer has invested in a state of the art powertrain (ICE, EV and hybrid) test facility at its Coventry located technical centre. This has created a very exciting opportunity for an experienced powertrain test engineer with a passion for continuous improvement to lead and support the test operations team. Initially the role will support delivery of this facility and once established lead the delivery at world-class standard of powertrain test operations. Key elements of this Powertrain Test Principal Engineer job: - Coordinate and manage test activities - Provide expert technical guidance for ICE and EV/Hybrid Powertrain Testing - Lead test cell preparation to ensure timely, high quality data delivery - Identify customer needs, delivering process and best practice - Support resolution of test specimen and test cell issues - Support quotation development - Support HandS activities - Write and present reports Candidate requirements for this Powertrain Test Principal Engineer job: - Degree or HND in an engineering discipline - Extensive knowledge of all aspects or powertrain testing - Significant years of experience in a technical leadership role - Expert operator of test automation software - Able to lead by example - Possess excellent communication skills In return the successful Powertrain Test Principal Engineer can expect: - An excellent salary, car allowance and benefits package - The chance to work in a showcase test facility - Career development opportunities Suitably qualified, experienced and ambitious Powertrain Test Engineers should apply for this job today by either calling Ray Greenman on ******************* or by emailing their application to *************************
