Reporting to the Senior Purchasing Manager, the Group Purchasing Manager - Marketing will be responsible for strategy, engagement and execution of a broad portfolio of marketing categories with a particular focus on media. The role will be based at the organisation's London office.

Reporting to the Senior Purchasing Manager, the Group Purchasing Manager - Marketing will be responsible for strategy, engagement and execution of a broad portfolio of marketing categories with a particular focus on media. The role will be based at the organisation's London office.
Key responsibilities - Group Purchasing Manager - Marketing
- To deliver sustainable benefits (cost savings, reduced risk to supply) to the business from the purchasing and supply management (PSM) of specific categories within the Marketing categories of expenditure
- Secure stakeholder involvement in all purchasing and supply management activities
- Manage potential spend in scope of GBP60m+ across 100+ suppliers with expenditure in 8+ different operating companies with engagement of over 30+ key stakeholders
- Drive supplier performance through a thorough understanding of what motivates them to perform
- Understand capture and shape internal business requirements looking over a 1,3,5 year horizon as appropriate
Experience & skills - Group Purchasing Manager - Marketing
- At least 2+ years experience of managing and implementing Procurement strategy in a complex International environment, ideally in the Retail sector
- Successful track record of making change happen including changing suppliers
- Can demonstrate in-depth experience in a Marketing category of spend
- Experience of working in more than one country is an advantage
- Degree qualified
