Java - Middleware Developer is required by a leading global organisation.
The Opportunity
- Provide guidance and recommendations on Best practice approach to technical solutions
- Develop new applications and enhancements to existing applications
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line operational support for existing and new applications within agreed service levels
- Liaise with business users to resolve issues
- Support incidents and service requests delivered within agreed Service Level Agreements
- On-going reduction in level of Support incidents for established services
- Customer satisfaction on resolution of support incidents and service requests
- Delivery of new functionality to agreed project milestones and within agreed budgets and timescales
- Work closely with project managers, technical leads, the architecture team and SME's to ensure technical solutions are delivered consistently and adhere to standards
Technical Skills
- Java -Strong commercial experience
- JBoss Fuse (including Apache Camel and ActiveMQ) - Strong commercial experience
- Spring framework
- Apache
- Tomcat or Oracle HTTP Server
- Mocking frameworks
- Continuous integration (Ideally using Bamboo)
- Automated unit testing using Junit
- Code Quality Analysis tools (Sonar, Findbugs, Checkstyle, PMD, JaCoCo)
- Source Control using Subversion
- Use of Binary Repository - ideally Artifactory
- PostgreSQL
