Based in London or Manchester

Vital Human Resources Ltd one of the leading Engineering recruitment companies in the UK, are expanding due to consistent success and are therefore seeking Recruitment Professionals to come and join us at our prestigious Manchester or London office.

We are looking for bright, driven individuals with a desire to make a difference and contribute to the continuing growth of this successful business.

The role:

- You will work alongside an experienced Recruitment team focused on increasing business and continually growing the existing well established team.
- The principal focus would be to maintain and expand on the client base, source highly qualified contractors across many disciplines to successfully place with our clients.
- The key will be your expertise in dealing with clients, gaining business and recruiting scarce skills in growing industries.
- You will be responsible for developing a database of client contacts and additional candidates and managing these effectively, organising and arranging shifts/placements.
- Ensuring all safety critical processes and procedures are adhered to.
- Achieving revenue targets in place.
- Compiling and tracking essential information on an existing database.

What you will need:

- To be an experienced Recruitment Consultant in any discipline (Engineering Sector experience not necessary)
- Experience of dealing with clients and developing new business and growing existing business.
- Previous proven experience of client management, visiting clients and bringing in new business.
- Confidence with the ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and skilled in recruiting scarce skills.
- Good knowledge of social media sites and LinkedIn.
- Commercial understanding and awareness.
- Tenacity and a real sense of urgency
- A desire to be successful
- IT literate to a good level (Word & Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Good strong administration skills
- Hardworking and conscientious
- Reliable and professional in your attitude and approach to work
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Strong personality
