LOCATION: Halifax, West Yorkshire
JOB TITLE: Leifeld PNC Setter / Programmer (Leifeld PNC Semi Automatic)
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary depending on experience
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 7am - 1pm based on 38 hours per week.
THE COMPANY: Our client, based in Halifax, is a dynamic and innovative company with over 250 years' experience in the art of metal forming and spinning. Established in 2011 our client set out to, as it does today; provide comprehensive, traditional and contemporary metal spinning and fabrication, producing a wide variety of bespoke, high quality metal products. Our client is now in a position to recruit for a Leifeld PNC Setter / Programmer
THE ROLE: The role of Leifeld PNC Setter / Programmer will require you to spin metal using different materials - Steel/Aluminium/Stainless Steel/Brass and Copper
Duties/responsibilities to include:
• Programming Setting and operating the 2 x Leifeld PNC Lathes efficiently and effectively to an acceptable level of performance
• Other duties as per production manager
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or environment. They will be punctual, and must be able to work in a team as well as on their own initiative.
Key experience essential for the role of Leifeld PNC Setter / programmer based in Halifax:
• Must live within a commutable distance of Halifax, West Yorkshire
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Must be able to read from drawings and measure the finished article.
