Associate Lecturer in Sport

18.5 hours per week

£22,610- £32,668 per annum pro rata

Fixed Term until 31st July 2017

We are seeking to recruit an Associate Lecturer to teach Sport courses at various levels. Key roles include:

• Delivering high quality teaching and learning
• Guiding and supporting learners
• Providing appropriate assignment material for each programme

You will need to have specific experience and qualifications in the areas of sports as you will be teaching full and part time students working towards their qualifications.

Using your understanding of the field, you will ensure the achievement and success of your learners.

In this role you will demonstrate innovative teaching methods and excellent communication skills. Your ability to motivate learners to succeed will also be shown.

You will hold a Degree (or equivalent) in a Sport related subject. We are prepared to offer training to help you gain a teaching qualification if you do not currently hold one. You must also hold Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths or the commitment to gaining within 12 months of commencement.
