We are looking for a friendly, reliable and outgoing person to take on an important new role within our new Rough Sleeper Outreach Team in Basingstoke & Deane. The Peer Assertive Outreach Worker will draw on their lived experience of homelessness to build up trusting relationships with people sleeping rough and work in innovative ways to break down barriers to engaging with services and support.
The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the team and a number of other agencies working together to support rough sleepers off the streets and into accommodation. The Peer Assertive Outreach Worker will undertake early morning and evening outreach sessions on a rostered basis.
