Joining us as Surveyor based in Brighton, you will identify and price up external repairs and planned maintenance work to social housing stock covering all aspects of external repairs and maintenance. The Surveyor will price aspects such as brickwork, render, pitched roofs, flat roofs, windows, doors, soffit & fascia, rain water goods, painting & decorating, metalwork, concrete repairs and balconies.  Within the role the work will be mostly priced using SORs (however where SORs are not available, you will obtain prices from our approved contractors).

Candidates for this position will ideally hold Social Housing experience coupled with Health & Safety awareness. The Surveyor will be at least a basic user of IT coupled with MS word and Excel skills. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a relevant QS/Surveying qualification or hold demonstrable experience within this environment. Preferably candidates will hold a H&S related qualification such as SMSTS and IOSHH, however this is not essential to this position. As well as being an effective communicator, you will ideally hold a scaffold inspection qualification coupled with a strong customer focus. If possible, candidates will ideally possess experience of working with SORs, however this is not essential to this position, with the right technical knowledge.  Above all, we are looking for an individual who has the drive and passion to succeed.
