Job Title: Technical Estimator

Location:  South East London

Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 per annum

Providing support and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will:

Primary Technical Estimating Objectives;

• To ensure the efficient and effective completion of technical quotations and their related paperwork.
• To respond in the most knowledgeable, efficient and courteous manner, to verbal and written technical enquiries (full training will be given)
• To be aware of potential sales opportunities and issues and act upon them appropriately.

Primary Administrative Objectives;

• To assume responsibility for, and day to day implementation of, the ISO 9001:2015 certification (full training will be given)
• To ensure the efficient and economical buying of Warehouse, Sales and Admin products

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your understanding of technical drawings to interpret specifier and customer requirements
• Calculate and prepare estimates and quotations - technical and straightforward fabrication projects
• Process technical paperwork – quotations and related paperwork
• Answering telephone confidently and being able to identify the type of call and respond appropriately
• Deal with technical enquiries via email or phone
• Occasionally deal with Showroom sales
• Ongoing implementation of the ISO9001:2015
• Buyer for Warehouse / admin / sales purchasing requirements
• Be a proactive member of the team (suggesting improvements/joining in discussions etc)
• Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as and when they may arise
