This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist software provider to the global insurance industry. Established in 2003 the company has enjoyed an average growth of 25% per annum to become one of the leading software providers in the industry, with over 100 clients worldwide. They employ over 180 staff in 3 offices across the UK and Poland, with its head office located in a converted barn on the outskirts of Winchester. They have the following exciting new opportunity located at their office in Colden Common, Winchester.

They are currently recruiting for a 1st Line Support Analyst to join their busy support desk team and welcome applicants with all levels of experience to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first line support to the client base through incident logging and maintenance, customer query investigation and resolution, and preparation of release documentation. It is important that all client queries are dealt with promptly, retaining ownership until the query is addressed to the satisfaction of the client.

To provide a high level of customer focus, and to ensure that clients are being regularly contacted and that calls are being processed in a timely manner; therefore good communication skills and telephone manner is essential. To manage the escalation and communication of client hardware and network issues to their hardware partners.

You will be able to deliver excellent technical support, verification, accurate classification, recording and acceptance of client faults into the Incident Management System, including recreation and analysis of reported faults whilst ensuring timely generation, distribution and monitoring of Further Information Request Reports to clients.

The ideal candidate will posses some of the following:-

- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Office packages
- Experience of Helpdesk support duties
- Strong problem solving skills
- Previous Customer Service experience in an Insurance environment
- Experience of Microsoft SQL Server or the Microsoft Visual Studio environment however this is not essential
- Pro-active when dealing with customer issues
- High attention to detail

Applicants will need to be well presented, ideally with a relevant qualification in IT, however this is not essential.
