Senior IT Systems Engineer - VMWare vSphere

My client is one of the UK's largest specialist distributors operating in large and diverse markets. The Group has four separate divisions, connecting suppliers to customers in an efficient, knowledgeable and service oriented way.

The role of the Senior Systems Engineer will be to deliver secure, robust and efficient IT solutions and implement and mointor the Windows Server networks of my client .

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

*Proven design and implementation experience of Windows and Linux servers
*Excellent design and architecture experience of VMWare and vSphere servers suitable for the head offices and warehouses
*Design and implementation of SCCM/SCOM systems to manage the enterprise
*Design and implementation of ePolicy solutions that are able to manage the enterprise
*To ensure all Windows Servers are implemented and managed to a professional standard using best practices across Connect Group
*Manage multiple and concurrent projects without compromising quality or deadline commitments.
*Ensuring that all implementations and project team members strictly adhere to stated change control procedures.
*Design and implement IT solutions to improve the infrastructure of businesses gained through acquisition.

This role will be based in the Head Office in Swindon. The role is office based however the role does periodically require weekend, travel and offsite work
