A leading manufacturer of combustion and energy systems, due to ongoing growth are now looking for an additional Service / Commissioning Engineer to join their existing service team.
Reporting into the Regional Service Manager, individuals will be based from home and will generally work within daily commute of your home, with occasional overnight stays and overseas travel after adequate training to work on both land and marine applications for short periods.
As a Service/Commissioning Engineer you will gain experience of a wide range of combustion products including oil, gas, coal burners, fuel handling systems, boiler and plant systems, economisers and associated controls and equipment applications including heat generating plant for steam and hot water provision; to downstream processes, including hospitals and industry as well as process and petro-chem installations.
Our client is looking for individuals who are qualified to ONC, City & Guilds and/or 16th/17th Edition and have experience of working within an Electrical Maintenance / Service engineering capacity, working on the servicing and commissioning of industrial electrical systems / applications or electro-mechanical machinery and now looking for a field based opportunity. Full gas training will be provided.
This position offers a basic salary in the region of GBP25,000 - GBP28,000 and benefits to include a Company Car, overtime scheme, allowances, and commission scheme with expected earnings in the region of GBP35,000 - GBP40,000++ together with a sickness scheme, 25 days holiday and the opportunity to join a contributory pension scheme.
