- Manage risks in the supply chain through the robust vendor due diligence process as well as developing and reporting relevant KPIs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of supply chain best practice through formal and informal external benchmarking in relation to supplier management and due diligence process
- Be a point of contact for business partners for non-preferred suppliers as well as establishing, building and maintaining positive relationships with them to enable the supplier due compliance and diligence processes to be effectively implemented and maintained
- Support negotiation of terms and conditions with non-preferred suppliers in order to create certainty as to the agreement and minimise legal disputes as well as enforcing Veolia`s agreement where appropriate
- Develop and implement supplier rationalisation plans (target of reduction) in conjunction with the supply chain strategy developed by the Regional and National Category Managers
- Support the delivery of the CR agenda for Supply Chain
- Manage the Supply Chain Support team for day to day transactions and ensure all Supply Chain policies and procedures are followed.
- Contribute to the department`s management team through detailed analysis and performance tracking where required (incl. Audit preparation)
- Review and maintain Supply Chain policies and procedures and ensure efficiency and effectiveness on a regular basis as well as promoting new ideas and development of systems
Essential:
- Degree or Higher Level Qualification
- MCIPS qualified or part qualified
Desirable:
- Business based qualification
- Experience of ERP systems from a Procurement or Accounts Payable perspective
- IT literate - MS Office based packages
