Salary: GBP19476 Per Annum Plus Benefits
Location: To cover stores in Kent
Duration: Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)

Area Display Assistant Role:

We are looking for an Area Display Assistant to assist in implementing our window and display principles across our stores in Kent in order to attract customers and drive retail sales.
Area Display Assistant Responsibilities:
- Work within the Display team to achieve required standards in the dressing and styling of our display windows
- Ensure that all stores receive new window displays within the set timescales
- Follow photography to pick stock which will reflect current fashion trends, to achieve the look and story of each product, liaising with Store Managers during this process
- Efficiently plan your own workload on a daily basis to achieve high productivity levels and meet strict deadlines
- Ensure effective communication is maintained across the Display department at all times
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of relevant display visual techniques, experience of outfit-building and stock selection for mannequin displays.
- The ideal Area Display Assistant You'll need to have a creative flair with a genuine interest in fashion, excellent interpersonal skills, self motivation and the ability to be flexible as regional travel is required (transport costs will be covered)
- Be highly skilled and knowledgeable in merchandising, dressing and styling of mannequins and display features
- Be industry aware in terms of fashion, display techniques and design as well as concepts, with a genuine flair and interest in display
- Be confident in working on your own initiative as well as being a successful team player
Please note that this role covers the Kent area and due to the requirement of frequent travel between stores it is essential that the successful candidate has a valid driving licence and lives in or close to the area to make this practical
The average weekly hours are 39 hours based on an annual work pattern which will vary in content week on week. Work patterns will be issued on application, and will reflect the planned weekly workload. Please note that this work pattern is fixed and you must be able to commit to it
