REFECTORY CHEF
Location Stamford, Lincolnshire
Hours 35 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time + 4 weeks)
Contract type Permanent
Salary GBP19,371 per annum (actual GBP16,309 pro rata)

We are looking to appoint an experienced Chef to manage the College's daily catering provision via all outlets, kitchens and eating areas. Working with the Refectory Team Leader, you will monitor and support the Catering Assistants in providing a high quality retail catering service for staff, students and other College users.
Working arrangements are Monday to Friday 7am - 2pm, 35 hours per week, term time (36 weeks) plus 4 additional weeks working in the holiday periods.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in a busy catering outlet, including food preparation, high standard of cooking and presentation. You must have previous experience of delivering a Catering service, preferably a high volume service. You will also need to have a Level 2 qualification in Catering (or equivalent) and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. It would be preferable to hold a Level 3 qualification in Catering (or equivalent).
