Job Title: Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator

Are you experienced within a Facilities Coordination role?

Are you relevantly qualified within Health, Safety and Environmental legislation/practices?

Do you live in the North Somerset/Avon area or within a reasonable commute?

Our client is an established manufacturing business in the North Somerset/Avon area with expertise in the development and production of composite components and products. They have a current career opportunity for an experienced Health Safety and Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and co-ordinate Health and Safety administration relevant to site,
* Create and maintain sites database of Health and Safety activities,
* Update and maintain Company's database on internal intranet,
* Co-ordinate site activities including :

* First Aiders, Occupational Health, Risk Assessments, Fire (Prevention, Risk Audits, equipment checks), Welfare activities, DSE Assessments/COSHH Management, planned maintenance, facilities contractors, Waste Management/WEEE, site security systems etc.

* Manage and co-ordinate facilities administration relevant to site,
* Act as contract co-ordinator as a focal point for the Group Facilities for the management of all contractors,
* Assist in the Environmental Management System at the Group,
* Create and maintain contractors database,
* Create and maintain Planned Maintenance database for plant, equipment and building

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will meet the following:

* Occupational Health and Safety, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent.
* Experience in a similar role - Health and Safety or Facilities in a manufacturing or similar multi-disciplined environment.
* Experience of Health and Safety implementation in the workplace, e.g. carrying out Risk Assessments.
* Ability to review complex information and relay to a wide audience range
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Excellent IT literacy, communication and interpersonal skills
* Living in the North Somerset/Avon area or within a reasonable commute, and ideally a driver due to location.

The Package:

* Starting salary ??22k-25k per annum depending on experience
* 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays
* 39 hours per week with early (1pm) finish on Fridays
* Annual pay review
