Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join their team.

Location: Northamptonshire – Relocation package available

Geotechnical Project Engineer –The Role:

- Due to the company expanding and a portfolio of work with high profile, blue-chip clients, they are looking for a graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience to join their team.

- You will join the Geotechnical engineering team to provide engineering support on single and multi-disciplinary projects, including new build and refurbishment projects for the private and public sectors. Typical project values range from GBP £0.5-30m and are extremely varied in type, scope and complexity.

- You will be responsible, under the leadership of the Associate Director, for the project management of complex projects for clients in the Industrial, Residential and Educational sectors. This will include client liaison, interface with project teams, contract implementation and providing support to their other offices.

Geotechnical Project Engineer –Key Responsibilities:

- Liaison and representation of the company with other project professionals

- Involvement in and project management of a range of geo-environmental projects from desk studies to intrusive investigations, including the planning of intrusive works

- Sample scheduling and interpretation of chemical and geotechnical data

Geotechnical Project Engineer –Experience Required:

- Experience in geotechnical matters such as foundation design, road pavement design and ground improvement

- Minimum of 2+ years graduate Geotechnical experience in a civils/multi-disciplinary engineering environment

- Ability to project manage site operations and contractors, as well as the in-house team

- Computer literacy in Windows and Microsoft Office software

- It is desirable that you will have either Student or Associate membership of Institute of Civil Engineers and a wish to work towards Chartership and full membership.
