Job Role:

Our Client is an established commercial landscaping company and a vacancy has arisen for a construction based Contracts Supervisor at their depot located near Warrington.

The successful candidate will have the ability and motivation to organise his/her own time as well as organising teams to undertake construction based landscaping work.

General responsibilities include:

• Taking responsibility for high profile contracts ensuring work is carried out to the specified standards
• Co-ordinating labour, equipment and materials to ensure efficient productivity levels are achieved.
• Carrying out site visits and liaising with management, site agents, and clients
• Being decisive in managing day to day operational matters.
• Ability to interpret architects drawings and be able to set out working areas for operational teams.
• Ensuring motivation and discipline is maintained with the teams
• Actively ensuring the Company's Health and Safety policies are rigorously adhered to.
• Accurate completion of required documentation in line with the Company's ISO Standards procedures.

Essential requirements:

• CSCS card: minimum level - blue card
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial landscaping operations
• Previous supervisory background
• Driving licence
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, management and all other members of staff.
• Flexibility in approach to working hours - may be required to start early or work later in line with the operational needs of the business.

Desirable although not essential as training can be provided:

• IOSH Health and Safety Certificate
• Horticultural NVQ level 3 or above

Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience
