We are currently planning a joint service with co-location and centralised management of integrated services. The Residential Rehabilitation multidisciplinary team provide rehabilitation, reablement and social care across two sites - a 30-bed Meadow View Unit at Queen Mary's Hospital and seven self-contained flats in Crayford. The aim is to maximise service users' independence and help them to return home.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and proactive Occupational Therapists to join our Integrated Residential Reablement Team. If you have experience in the rehabilitation field and working knowledge of moving and handling techniques, we can offer you the chance to drive your career forward within an ambitious and driven service.

You'll work closely with Nurses, Social Workers, Rehabilitation Assistants, Physiotherapists, Doctors, Activity Co-ordinator and volunteers from both Health and Social Care backgrounds.

We will look to you to play a key role in the assessment and treatment of people, caseload management, supervision and training of junior staff as appropriate, complete Access / Home visits, support other Team members as appropriate and attend family and MDT meetings.

Due to the fact that you'll be carrying out visits in patients' homes and other settings within the community, it is essential that you are able to travel around the Borough.
