About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graphic Designer to join the talented Sales & Marketing team in Glasgow, Scotland.

As the Graphic Designer, you will support the creation of designed online and offline material for the regional marketing team members to use in executing marketing plans. You will deliver accurate and brand-compliant marketing collateral that helps increase the number of enquires generated for our clients products.

Some of the main responsibilities within the role include:

  • Champion cost-effective production of high-quality marketing materials that fit with the framework of the brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Support the regional marketing team in the creation of effective marketing activity that drives prospects and property sales.
  • Prepare final layout artwork by finishing copy and designs, often from campaign concept templates provided.
  • Management of regional advertising creative schedule ensuring appropriate tracking sources are included.
  • Work with the regional marketing team to produce marketing literature and promotional campaign material, including advertising, exhibition panels, external signage and hoardings, internal signage and sales office graphics, posters and mailshots.
  • Where required, work with local design agencies to fulfil design requirements, ensuring an accuracy of artwork and compliance with Brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Liaison with third party agencies to deliver fly-throughs including coordination of approval loop to sign off.
  • Take briefs from marketing team members to refresh written and visual communications to ensure fit with the brand and tone of voice guidelines. Confidently interpret briefs to deliver solutions that are fit for purpose, and question where additional clarity is required.
  • Negotiate with external suppliers, including printer and mailing houses, to arrange production of marketing material at competitive rates. Where necessary, stock control printed material held within regional office.
  • Provide support with digital creative requirements including email creation and display banners.
  • Recommend ways to improve communications to help improve customer experience and drive enquiries for our products.
  • Obtain approval of concept by submitting proofs for review by regional marketing teams.
  • Coordination of photography and video requirements with third party providers to ensure consistency and quality, alongside timely delivery.
  • Overall responsibility at a regional level for the administration of the third party asset management system, including adding new users, loading assets, tagging and labelling.
  • Work with the national graphic designer and other regional designers to foster an environment of sharing best practice.

About you
In order to be successful within this role, you will hold a Design qualification or similar creative qualification or will have development equivalent knowledge through practical work experience. You will have 2 years minimum experience in a design capacity (client side or agency environment). Additionally, you will have strong writing skills with an excellent command of English. An experience of copywriting is desirable within this role.

You will be fully conversant with publishing packages and illustration tools, such as InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, UX, and Motion Graphics. You will be a strong all-round designer with the ability to operate at pace with attention to detail and a right-first time approach.

This role is office based with a requirement for regular site visits as driven by project commitments.
