Primary School Teacher

Our client, an Ofsted “outstanding” primary School in Kingston upon Thames, is seeking two motivated primary school teachers.  Vacancies have arisen in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and the school is able to be flexible within its current teaching staffing to offer the right candidate a choice of year group in the primary setting.

Although the school would ideally like to appoint two primary school teachers to start after the Easter break they are able to keep the teaching posts open until the new academic year.  Applications from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers will be welcomed.

The school offers an excellent teaching environment where teaching staff and their teaching assistants are well supported by the Headteacher and senior management team.  While emphasis on literacy and numeracy is high and achievement is above the national average, this is balanced by a broad curriculum in which all pupils can flourish.

Situated in the heart of Kingston upon Thames, the school is easily accessible by public transport and there is also limited staff parking on site.  The school is currently three form entry and will be expanding next academic year, providing additional teaching opportunities.  The pupils are generally well behaved and the school has a supportive parent network.   

The school is looking for two primary school teachers who are confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best.  Candidates must be fully qualified primary school teachers with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.
