As a Software Engineer, you will design, implement and test new features for R&D and customer projects. 

In this diverse role, you’ll have the chance to make your mark on a diverse range of projects and collaborate with an industry-leading team. 

Specifically, your duties will involve: 

- Maintaining existing products, systems and tests
- Supporting project infrastructure and environments 
- Assisting with technical support issues 
- Documenting your work 
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of products, systems, infrastructures and processes 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Software engineering and design experience 
- Experience of C# and/or VB.NET (WinForms, WCF, Services and Web Services) 
- Previous experience of configuration-driven development using XML
- Knowledge of Visual Studio 2008 and/or 2010 
- An understanding of Oracle and/or PSQL 
- Knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures/functions, indexes, maintenance, and data profiles to resolve issues 
- A degree (or equivalent) in an IT related discipline 

As a Software Engineer, you’ll possess an innovative, analytical approach and superb attention to detail. Focused and proactive, you will also be an adaptable team player with exceptional communication skills. 

Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS). An understanding of Java X would also be beneficial.
