Our client is one of the world's largest independent suppliers of aerostructures and systems within the aviation market. At their facility near Glasgow, they are responsible for the design, engineering and manufacture of a range of products, including skins, spars, rib posts and joint plates, for customers including Boeing and Airbus.
They are looking to add a number of contract quality engineers on an initial 12 month basis. We'd be interested in hearing from candidates with a strong aerospace quality background and specific experience in the following areas:-
- Pre-delivery inspections/shakedowns on assemblies
- Delivery documentation
- Conducting product audits
- First Article Inspection activity to AS9102 standards
- MRB (Material Review Board) activity to determine part/assembly dispositions on supplier related issues or internal investigations for assemblies
- Non Conformance 1 processing from receipt to closure
- Procedure reviews
