An established business in Exeter is currently recruiting a Finance Manager to join their busy team.
This is a lead Finance role, reporting into Director level and taking responsibility for a small finance team.
The key duties of this role will include preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, rolling forecasts, quarterly VAT returns and dealing with the year end audit schedule. This is a very hands on role and as such you will be involved in all aspects of finance, managing the financial needs of the business. You will also have the opportunity to review and improve financial controls and processes to ensure they operate as efficiently as possible.
The successful candidate will either be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience, providing you have the relevant skills for the role. Ideally you will have worked in an SME environment with a broad range of finance skills as well as having the ability to communicate finance to non-finance individuals in an understandable manner.
