Peer Support Group Worker Young people (16-25) and LGBT+ communities (1 year contract)
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary scale: NJC 5 points 22-25, GBP20,661-22,658 (pro rata) (from 1st April 2017)
Base: Clarence House, 11 Clarence Rd, Horsforth, LS18 4LB
Closing: 12 noon, Wednesday 1st March 2017
Interview: Tuesday 14th March 2017
This post will be responsible for the facilitation a range of peer led groups for young people and members of LGBT+ communities. They will work closely with the existing Group & Development Worker to ensure the successful delivery of these projects, but will manage their own workload. They will also be involved in the development and delivery of LGBT+ awareness training to community organisations and statutory service providers in Leeds, and mental health awareness training within LGBT+ communities.
