Salary: GBP14,080 - GBP16,401 pro rata per annum (GBP7.22 - GBP8.41 per hour)

We have a number of rewarding opportunities for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Workers in Market Deeping & Deeping St James. We have a number of permanent part time roles in this area and are able to offer contracts with weekly working hours ranging from 7.5 - 25 per week; in addition we have fixed term & (bank/relief) roles.

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives.

As a Support Worker you will support people to live more independent lives in their home and local community. This may include assisting with people's personal care, their dietary requirements, shopping and social activities. This is a role where no two days are alike, and you go home knowing that you made a real impact someone's life.

You will support people to live the life that they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Sense supports individuals to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

If you do have experience that's great! We also have 'Experienced Support Worker' opportunities in this location where we are looking people who have recent experience of providing practical support (including personal care) with vulnerable people in a home, community or education setting and to have also gained a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent experience. The Experienced Support Worker role has an annual salary of up to GBP16,401 (GBP8.41 per hour).

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.

For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female only for one of the roles within Market Deeping only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for some of the roles in the area but not all, please don't be discouraged from applying is you are not able to drive.
