Senior Mental Health Employment Development Specialist (18 month contract)
This post will support Jobcentre Plus staff and Managers based in Southern House Jobcentre Plus to reflect, manage and build on their skills, confidence and capacity in supporting individuals with mental health issues, who are accessing their services.
The post will be based at DeLacey House and also co-locate 4 days per week at Southern House Jobcentre Plus.
The successful candidates will:
Have experience in providing 1:1 support/advice to adults with wide and varied complex needs
Have the ability to support a partner organisation to reflect, manage and build on their confidence and capacity in supporting individuals with mental health issues.
Have experience in delivering presentations and facilitating groups.
Have min. 3 years' experience of working in either mental health, employment, training, social/health setting.
Have experience working in close partnership with other organisations.
Salary scale: Scale SO1- Point 29- 30
Salary: GBP25,951 - GBP27,668
Hours: Full-time - 37 hrs per week (Job share applications welcome)
