Company Description
A technology start-up based in North Hertfordshire is about to embark on an exciting B2B marketplace website project and is looking for a talented and enthusiastic full stack web developer with good knowledge of modern PHP programming and preferably will know Laravel 5, or at least have had exposure to a similar framework. Only candidates who can demonstrate an ability to write high quality structured and extensible code will be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and building a functional and dynamic website serving complex context driven content. The developer will gain valuable experience from being engaged from the early stage of this green field project and depending on performance, the developer may expect to be offered the opportunity to take the lead of a small team.
Essential Skills:
PHP 5-7
Object Orientation, Design Patterns, etc.
MVC
PHP frameworks (especially Laravel)
MySQL
Linux
TDD

HTML, CSS
Bootstrap CSS
Javascript frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Vue, AngularJS)

A Levels, degree is preferable in a related discipline.
