The Web Developer Role:

Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, your goal, initially, will be to develop a front and back end system on the Shopify eCommerce site platform. 

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day:

+ Managing the implementation, development and maintenance of Shopify eCommerce site 
+ Research, development, testing and implementation of new features and functionality
+ Integrating third party software including Sage, Amazon, eBay, SEO apps as well as reporting and warehouse systems
+ Modifying and updating Shopify features to improve usability and security
+ Testing and optimising sites for cross-browser compatibility, including responsive web and for mobile
+ Staying up to date with the latest front end technologies and standards to ensure best practices are applied

About You:

+ 2+ web development experience
+ Javascript, PHP, HTML, CSS
+ Knowledge in cross-browser compatibility and responsive web
+ An eye for design and user experience
+ An understanding of SEO and digital marketing
+ Ability to prioritise workload and work on multiple projects
+ Experience working on projects at various stages
+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills
+ Good team player with good communication skills
+ Excellent organisational and time keeping skills
