We have grown to more than 250 staff and 6 centres across the North West and other areas of the UK, working with national employers across a wide range of sectors, whilst maintaining local support.

We currently have a vacancy available for Training Technical Lead (Metrology)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Metrology specialist to lead the delivery of the metrology strategy for the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre (AMTC) in Coventry

To support the AMTC and emerging AMTC programmes as a whole but with specialist skills in Metrology and NDT delivery

The successful applicant will join a team working in the new Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre to teach on a range of programmes related to the specialist area

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of courses, devising of schemes of work, session plans and compliance with procedures, course reviews and assessment and stay ahead of developments relating to the specialist area.

The role will also require specialist training with our equipment supply partners and other related training courses.

Requirements:

You need to be committed, passionate and driven to deliver the company’s objective of an Amazing place with Amazing people!

You will require an Engineering qualification and relevant industrial experience as either a technician or Engineer and be qualified in your subject matter.

A teaching qualification/experience is desirable with knowledge and competence in core functions such as:

• Metrology/NDT 1

• Metrology/NDT 2

• Metrology/NDT 3

Terms and Conditions:

The working hours for this role are 36 per week from 8.30am Monday to Friday.

This full time, permanent post offers an attractive employment package, including benefits such as 27 days holidays in addition to bank holidays, accrual of 1 days holiday for each service year (up to a maximum of 5), free on-site parking, childcare vouchers, company pension scheme and free life insurance, subject to qualifying periods.
