Our client a Fareham based College is seeking a Business Adviser to carry out sales and promotional activities for the Apprenticeship provision and wider college services including Full Cost provision and Traineeship programmes This position requires outstanding customer service to all customers for the department (including internal and external, colleagues, students, apprentices and employers). Allowing the department to achieve a minimum of 95% satisfaction rates from all partners in satisfaction surveys. The Employer Services department is focused on meeting employer needs in a proactive and effective manner and this customer service based approach is essential for both the telephone and face to face activities involved in the role.

The ideal candidate for this post will have experience in education or recruitment sales and have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service. Experience of apprenticeships and other similar Government initiatives is a distinct advantage but the ability to maintain currency in this fast changing business environment is key. Awareness of Apprenticeship reform and the funding changes due to the Apprenticeship Levy is important to carrying out this role.

As part of the Employer Services department will include engagement with schools, students, employers and other partners to promote the College and particularly the wider Apprenticeship agenda and is seen as key to the Colleges development.

You must be qualified to level 3 and have at least level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy (or equivalent). You will be self-motivated, adaptable and will uphold our Core Values, to Respect, Innovate and Excel.

Our client is the pre-eminent provider of further education and professional training in the Fareham and Gosport Area. We provide a wide range of vocational, academic, and occupational courses to 14-19 year-old students and to adult learners. A £14m redevelopment of the Bishopsfield Road campus provides students, staff and the surrounding community with an exceptional learning facility.
