Science Teacher - temp contract at an Outstanding school!

One of Derbyshire's most well known secondary schools located in sunny Duffield, is looking for a KS3 and GCSE Science Teacher to start on a part time basis ASAP.

What's great about this role is the fact that you can get your foot in the door of a school that rarely has openings. The majority of staff have been here for more than five years which is a great indicator for the friendly, buzzing environment you'll be stepping into. Noone wants to leave! You'll be covering for somebody who is on long term sick leave which will give you the opportunity to have one of Derbyshire's Top 10 secondary schools named on your CV, whilst potentially giving you the right contacts for future positions.

Not only this, but you'll be teaching in an environment which nurtures 'outstanding students'. That means that for once you won't have to worry about spending copious amounts of time dealing with bad behaviour. You'll be able to hit the ground running, teaching the subject that you love with students that actually want to learn.

You need to:

• Be a qualified Science Teacher
• Have experience of teaching KS3 and GCSE.
• A biology specialism is advantageous but not essential.
