Finance Assistant / Billing Coordinator, Based in Daresbury, Warrington, Salary £20-22k + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant / Billing Coordinator to join a rapidly growing IT business based in Daresbury, near Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial / accounts backgrounds background, ideally with Sage and / or Autotask experience. Microsoft Excel and data manipulation skills are essential. The role will support the Head of Commercial Services, the Commercial Services team and the rest of the business with customer billing, financial and non-financial data and performance reporting.

Finance Assistant / Billing Coordinator responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up contracts and customer billing on Autotask
  • Contract reconciliation
  • Professional Services billing and reconciliation
  • Customer assessments
  • Preparation and reconciliation of data for sales commission
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of data
  • Documentation of policies, processes and compliance
  • Collation of Expenses
  • Quotes – Creation, management, opportunities, orders
  • Supplier invoices & payments
  • Telecom & printer billing
  • Provide support and cover for all other team members.
  • Liaising with the finance team, ensuring accounting information requirements & timetables are met
  • Adherence to quality standards & the Investors in People scheme
  • General Admin duties – Answering telephone, meeting room booking, ordering buffet lunches, meeting and greeting visitors, travel & accommodation booking
  • Provide support and cover for all other team members

Personal Specification:

  • Strong financial background from within a Billing Coordinator / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant or similar role
  • Good excel and data manipulation skills
  • Good reporting skills
  • Strong communication skills (Verbal and written)
  • A positive approach to customer service
  • Passionate about being organised, up to date and compliant
  • Knowledge of Autotask and Sage (desirable not essential)
