Service Manager - Islington Vulnerable Adults Team

£36,546 - £40,377pa

37.5 hours PW

We're looking to recruit a dynamic and inspirational Service Manager to lead our Islington Vulnerable Adults Team. The post holder will be responsible for two services in Islington - the Single Homeless Service (44 clients) and the Substance Use Service (47 clients). Both services are considered medium to low support, providing accommodation in a variety of housing across Islington, and are the final stage before independent living.

Line managing 2 Deputy Managers and project staff, the service manager has overall responsibility for both the development and day-to-day running of the service. You will ensure excellent client support, positive management and development of staff, networking, liaison and resource-building, and budget control.

To succeed, you will have experience of staff management and the ability to supervise and motivate staff. You will also have experience of working with vulnerable homeless or disadvantaged people, coupled with the knowledge and an understanding of their housing and support needs.
