They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly tenacious Business Development Manager who can identify, pursue & develop new sales opportunities across the North of England
The company:
The role
- Working within a small UK based sales team
- Operating within a defined geographical territory, identifying and sourcing new leads and potential clients both over the telephone and through face to face meetings
- Maintaining relationships with key decision makers and buyers across the multi-channel sectors in which we operate.
- Development of an acute understanding of teaching practises across the D & T subjects
- Continual updating of the company CRM system
- Participate in monthly sales meeting
Ideal Candidate:
- 3 year's proven field based BDM experience.
- Engineering biased
- Team player & business focussed
- Strong Negotiator with sound commercial acumen
- Will have excellent business skills and the ability to build and sustain relationships within the educational sectors.
- Well organised with good time management skills
- The ability to work a large territory efficiently.
- Analytical and numerate with a good attention to detail
- Educated to degree level is desirable
- Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
An excellent package is available to the successful candidate which includes a good basic salary, uncapped bonus structure OTE, fully expensed company car.
