Consulting Director, Kantar Analytics

The Job.

In order to help our clients to better harness the myriad of sources; either in-house (i.e. CRM/transactional), across the Kantar family (i.e. brand, CX, communications etc.) and/or other available 3rd party data sets (i.e. search/social), now available to them the Analytics practice was created.

The core aim of the practice area is to intelligently connect the data from these multiple sources by deploying sophisticated analytics to help our clients make better allocation and investment choices to continually drive enhanced business performance.

Building on the success our our global (US) business the UK & Ireland practice is being rolled out in 2017. This will help us to provide better localized support for our existing global clients but also offer our services directly to companies here in the UK and Ireland.

The Consulting Director, will consult with clients to provide analytic solutions across the 3 core Kantar Insight pillars of brand, customer and communications strategy that address the client's key business questions by designing:


Connected Brand Strategy programs
Advanced segmentation programs
Predictive Customer Experience solutions
Boosting channel effectiveness and ROI


We will also look to exploit our newer capabilities such as data management, data visualization and CRM modelling.

For each client engagement, the Consulting Director will identify relevant solutions to meet the client's needs, and work with relevant Kantar partners on proposals and business development. In addition, the Consulting Director will oversee the delivery of services to clients, and ensure they receive maximum value from our insights.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record in: driving commercial, solutions-oriented growth, building and honing key relationships both internally and externally, delivering robust presentations and client communications, adapting to the needs of a dynamic, evolving environment.

The Person:

We are seeking high potential professionals with proven experience in market research, a masters degree in market research/marketing or equivalent, and a demonstrated accelerated track record of success.

Key role requirements:


Present analytic opportunities to clients, growing our business through consultative selling and solid negotiating skills.
Partner with the client vertical teams to develop a comprehensive and achievable strategic plan for the business for each account.
Maintain and manage a revenue pipeline and deliver agreed sales/business growth targets.
Act as an internal analytics champion for the client, working collaboratively with internal partners and the team to coordinate efforts for clients where appropriate.
Articulate an excellent understanding of each product and solution, and how the data can be used to improve business performance.
Create and deliver unique client presentations that inspire confidence & credibility.
Help to guide the Marketing Science teams to drive increasing value to client proposals and deliverables.
