Employee Communications Business Partner
Location: Durham
14 Months Fixed Term Contract.
Our client based in Durham is looking for an Employee Communications Business Partner to work with the operational business areas. You will work closely with leaders to drive engagement in their teams, helping them achieve the company's vision and objectives through engaging and innovative employee communications and events.
This is a varied and challenging role. You will be joining a professional and customer-focused team that supports the strategic employee communications activities. You will need to demonstrate a great track record of colleague engagement, channel management and social media, change communications and event management.
Skills, qualifications and/or experience:
- A professional communications qualification or equivalent experience: e.g. IOIC Diploma. Coaching skills would be an added bonus.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills: able to build effective working relationships at every level of the business, providing the guidance, support and challenge your clients need to produce results.
- Strong and creative communication skills, both written and verbal: able to plan and deliver targeted and measurable communications initiatives and campaigns in a fast-moving and often reactive environment.
- Effective team player: working closely with others to deliver real business results; committed to supporting colleagues and keeping them up-to-date on priorities, targets and objectives.
- Highly organised with experience of budget management and strong commercial awareness: able to manage multiple demands and prioritise your time and resources efficiently and effectively. You'll remain calm under pressure and ensure that all communication activities are delivered in line with our values and guidelines on cost, quality and safety.
Salary: Dependent on experience
