We are urgently seeking to recruit an Associate Acoustician in Brighton to work for a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that specialises in environmental assessment, to a range of sectors including; Transport, Infrastructure and Energy services.
Requirements-
- Degree qualification in Acoustics or closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in the Acoustics, Noise and Vibration sector, in particular construction noise.
- Previous working experience of management in large scale construction projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of noise modelling software.
- Excellent interpersonal and team leadership qualities.
- IT literate.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Driving license.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside normal office hours.
Duties-
- Overseeing all technical processes at different project stages.
- Managing and directing staff.
- Liaising with senior management.
- Inputting into business strategy and development plans.
- Project management from start up to completion stages.
- Preparing tenders and budgets.
- Writing highly technical reports.
