We have a new position in our European Head Office in Camberley for a IT Vendor Management Analyst. This role ensures optimal cost and value benefit for the company through the management of IT vendors and their related contracts. Facilitates contract execution between the vendor and the Company's procurement function.

Core responsibilities:
A brief summary of duties you will be involved in as an IT Vendor Management Analyst:

1. Serves as the Vendor Relationship Owner (VRO) for assigned vendors. Maintains strong relationships with vendors. Evaluates vendor performance, conducts vendor risk assessments and scheduled vendor reviews. Manages all related vendor contracts and facilitates contract negotiation.

2. Analyzes invoices against contracts and their associated inventories. Works with Accounts Payable (AP) to resolve invoice and credit issues.

3. Tracks negotiated savings and other credits. Leverages vendor relationships and established contracts to maximize cost savings opportunities.

4. Ensures the strategic goals, policies and procedures of the organization are followed when carrying out procedures to select vendors. Communicates with cross-functional teams, providing insight into vendor's qualifications to support business requirements.

Qualifications

Skills and attributes:
To succeed in this role you will need the following skills/experience

- BA/BS in Business Administration, Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience in relationship management with direct responsibility for IT vendors Experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP PeopleSoft. Project Management experience.

- Must be self-motivated with initiative and leadership skills. Direct vendor negotiation skills. Strong team-orientation and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.

- Customer focused and able to manage challenging priorities while remaining flexible in stressful situations. Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
