Financial Accountant (Temporary)

Amec Foster Wheeler are recruiting for a Financial Accountant (temporary), based in Knutsford, to work with the Clean Energy Financial Controller to ensure the timely preparation and audit close out of subsidiary statutory accounts. Immediate start required.

- Preparation of trading adjustments for the Clean Energy subsidiary statutory accounts.
- Preparation and review of the statutory accounts (under FRS 101) and supporting files
- Liaison with external audit team to ensure timely audit of statutory accounts
- Clearance of audit queries on a timely basis
- Supporting the ongoing reporting requirements of the Clean Energy business
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with a good understanding of both IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101
- Exposure to preparation, review and audit of subsidiary statutory accounts
- Strong system skills - Excel, HFM and MDAX (or similar)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise in order to deliver results within timescales
- Strong team player
- Attention to detail
