Finance & Accounts Manager
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance & Accounts Manager for a vibrant business based in Leeds city centre. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller this role will vary depending on the needs of the team at the time. You will have duties overseeing all accounts areas, using Sage Line 50 along with taking responsibility for the production of various reports.
The purpose of the role is to assist in the support of the financial functions undertaking a rage of daily duties:
Day to Day Financial Duties:
*Cash flow forecasting
*Management and reconciliation of intercompany balances
*Dealing with factoring company and balancing the ledger and weekly debtor ledger balancing and reporting
*Cash book
*Managing multiple bank accounts
*Processing purchase ledger
*Producing weekly/month end balances and reports
*Agents commission payments
*VAT returns
*Processing weekly BACS run to suppliers
*Checking expenses
*Processing monthly payroll / inland revenue reporting
Monthly/ Annual Financial Duties
*Reporting and analysis
*Monthly pre-payment reporting and accrual journal
*Preparation of year-end audit file
*Profit and Loss reports
*Monitoring contract profitability
*Checking financial reports
*Producing and monitoring budgets
*Producing information for year-end accounts
*Recording company car details/mileage complying HMRC requirements
Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
Ideally you would have experience of working within a finance team previously with experience in the service or professional service sector industry
A confident individual who is comfortable in working in a stand-alone position
Previous experience in the production of Management account information
Prior Sage, Ideally Sage line 50 experience is essential
Strong IT skills, (Excel and Word and data manipulation)
Excellent communication skills - Written and verbal
Self-motivated to achieve deadlines
Professional and confident manner
Flexible and willing attitude
Good problem solving skills
