Overview
We are recruiting for a market leading company within the automotive industry in Cheshire who are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Paint Expert to support the growth on their brand new site. You will have a background within the automotive manufacturing industry and have a vast amount of knowledge of 2k component, waterborne materials. Plenty of training will be provided and courses available to enhance your knowledge on their specific equipment.
The Role
Sitting within the engineering section, you will be the subject matter expert in Paint and a key point of reference between the engineering and paint sections. Some of the daily responsibilities involve supporting the paint line in terms of problem solving, CI, improvements, building relationships with the paint suppliers, line trials and projects e.g. new colour introduction. Technically you should have a good depth of knowledge in 2k paint and be able to effectively communicate and lead teams of people.
Qualifications and Skills
- Paint specific qualifications or equivalent in experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience essential
- Be a subject matter expert in Paint
- Leadership skills, be able to influence
- Confident communicator to all levels internally and externally
- Outgoing character
- Basic Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
